A practice run after doing the 3D studio max character rigging tutorial (The one with the alien). The joints had specific parameters so it can be easily fixed for posing. Each finger has two parameters. Angle of finger and curl. 50% on both parameters on all fingers makes it look like you're grasping a ball. Still haven't figured out how to do the thumb tho. My hand is already sore trying to figure out how the joints on it worked :( I think i'll just treat it like a limb instead and manually adjust it as needed.
